What is Illustrator?
Illustrator is design application that is used to create logos, icons, drawings, and other complex designs. Students can use the shape tool and other settings to illustrate any design. The designs the user creates on this program can also be printed out using a laser or vinyl cutter.

How to apply a Vinyl Decal
After removing all the scraps and being left with just your design, you want to take a piece of masking tape and place it over your design. Then you want to take a squeegee and run it over the tape forcefully. After that, you peel pack the masking tape and your design comes along with it. Finally, you place your design where you want it, run the squeegee over it a few times, and peel off the tape.

Summary
I learned a lot from the Illustrator portion of this class. I learned that Adobe Illustrator has many applications besides just designing things. People can use files from this program to print their designs using a laser or a vinyl cutter. I also learned that laser printing and vinyl cutting are a great way to express creativity and place designs on things I use everyday.
